Phillippe Nigro designed it. For who? I can’t remember! I read about it in a Salone article. It has been one of those weeks that flew by and yet nothing happened. Ever have one of those? But, I couldn’t let this one slip away. It’s too cool.

It’s available in several colors and as a standard chair or bar stool. I think I’m beginning to like bar stools.

Last year, Cappellini scored big (IMHO) in the creativity department with Sharpei.

I have yet to see what they’ve come up with this year. Sharpei is made of beechwood and crumpled cotton fabric. Hmmm…. Remember, I said it was creative, not comfy.

In particular, I’ve been admiring Italian tiles. I guess centuries of experience making beautiful things with squares of clay has paid off. These are beautiful.

I wish I were in one right now. Artifort had Michael Van der Kley whip up this Swamp Chair design for them. They come in lots of fun colors. Love ‘em! I also like this trend towards the outdoors.
