Stencil Library
Following up on my post about Apple Pie Design, the decal designer, here’s a great site I’ve purchased from before. It’s The Stencil Library, located in the UK. They sell to the US and have an enormous selection of stencils in every style imaginable. Best of all, they’re sophisticated, not cutsie. As you can see, it runs the gamut from a giant rose, to barbed wire, to large Chinese “wallpaper” designs. Check out their new Chinoisierie collection, the Bad Attitude, Contemporary, and the Japanese Cherry Blossom. Just to name a few. They sell all the supplies you need. Stencils are very easy to create. It may seem daunting when you’ve got 3 layers, but while more time consuming than a decal, it’s not more difficult.
Apple Pie Design
I came across this site for wall decals and thought I’d pass it along. It’s called Apple Pie Design and is from Belgium. They ship to the US. Their collection includes a wide variety of Alphabets and they do custom work. Their other collections are divided into classic, architectural elements, and nature. As you can see, their designs encompass a broad spectrum of styles. However, if you use color and positioning creatively, you can make even the dowdiest design seem modern. Here are a couple of effective uses.
